Margielyn Didal the Cebuana skateboarder and Asian Games 2018 gold medalist in Indonesia has won another gold medal. This time in the biggest women’s skateboarding event in the world, the 7th Annual Exposure Women Skate for Pro Street category at the Encinitas Community Park in Encinitas, California on Monday, Nov. 5.
Didal got the highest score and is $7,000 richer for winning the Street Pro gold medal in the three-day event that also featured Vert and Bowl competitions.
The19-year-old Cebu City native posted on her Facebook account after winning the gold medal. She competed against 40 skaters in the elimination round were only the top 12 made it to the finals.
This was her preparation for the Tokyo Olympics qualifiers in Brazil next year where the Top 20 will get to compete in 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
