The family he said has a lead as to where the victim got the substance.
Police Regional Office 7 Director PCSupt Debold Sinas said they are asking the family of the person who died of drug overdose during a Sinulog concert to file charges against sellers.
This after Sinas confirmed the victim died of ecstasy drug.
Ecstasy is the more common street name for the drug 3,4 methylenedioxymethamphetamine —a highly addictive, illicit drug also known as MDMA, or “Molly.”
This drug shares chemical structural similarities with both amphetamine and certain hallucinogens and elicits both stimulant and sensory altering effects like euphoria, heightened emotions, heightened sense of mental clarity, hallucinations and decreased appetite and thirst that could last from 3 to 8 hours.
Sinas personally visited the family this morning for the investigation.|FCC
