ZAMBOANGA CITY – Tagged as the most wanted person in Buug town, Zamboanga del Sur was wounded after he tried to escape from a police manhunt according to police offical, Saturday, February 9.
Police Regional Office 9 (PRO-9) director, Chief Supt. Emmanuel Luis Licup, identified the arrested suspect as Dhats Manguda, 39, a farmer and is listed as the number one most wanted person in Buug.
Licup said Manguda, who was arrested last Friday in Kumalarang town, Zamboanga del Sur, has a standing warrant of arrest for murder.
Manguda was shot in the leg when he tried to evade from the policemen serving the arrest warrant.
He was taken to the police headquarters of Kumalarang town after being treated at a local clinic.
