Malacanang announced that the narco-list involving politicans who are running for the May 13 polls will be released anytime soon. That will be an updated list and since that list then included ex-Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama the public therefore is awaiting whether it will still include him.
Even before that list is out Pres. Rodrigo Duterte sort of made a de facto exoneration of Rama as he raised the hand of the former Mayor in the recent political rally of PDP-Laban in Cebu but Malacanang spokesman Salvador Panelo doused a cold water on it as the President might have just done a courtesy so that list could be the ultimate closure to the issue.
Rama said that he was in “cloud 9” when the President raised his hand but then again the President did not made a categorical statement about it. So till the list will be publish, the public awaits and if Rama will not already be included, it will also raise his political capital. If otherwise his candidacy as Cebu City Vice Mayor will be in peril. The waiting game ends soon. Let’s see.
