“JONAS BUENO ARRESTED IN DAVAO CITY”

Jonas Bueno, the person of interest in the gruesome murder of Christine Lee Silawan was arrested late this afternoon in Davao City. Brigada News FM Davao reported that Bueno was arrested in Matina area in the city by the combined elements of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI-Xl) and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG). Bueno of Danao City has a warrant of arrest for murder. Bueno escaped a police dragnet in Cebu and hid in Davao for three days, the report said.
