“BOY’S PHONE HAVE PORN”

The National Bureau of Investigation have discovered pornographic videos in the cellpone of the ex-boyfriend of Christine Lee Silawan. “Mayroong for adults only,” quipped NBI Central Visayas Regional Director Tomas Enrile when asked by NewsPh.org on his comment on the latest development of the case. The NBI top official of the region begged off from commenting further however as their cybercrime experts from the Manila central office who just arrived in Cebu are still conducting an extensive technical examination on the phone.

The phone which is already destroyed were among the pieces of evidence which the NBI seized when they searched the house of the accused in Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City over the weekend. Even if destroyed cybercrime forensic experts were still able to determine the contents of the phone, it was learned. The NBI is trying to profile the personality of the boy who earlier was found by a social worker to have acted with discernment if and when he will be found to have actually killed Christine Lee, 16, an alms collector who was then in Grade 9.

Aside from the pornographic materials, the NBI have also conducted a buccal swab on the parents of the victim. The swab, according to Dr. Rene Cam, the chief of NBI Central Visayas forensics is a non-invasive way to collect DNA samples from the inside of a person’s cheek. The DNA of the parents would be compared to the DNA on the “traces of blood” which the NBI found in the cap of the boy which they have also seized in their raid of his house.

If the DNA of Christine’s parents will match on the traces of blood on the cap, it will be a scientific and strong evidence that indeed the boy killed Christine. The boy who is 17 years-old and a schoolmate of Christine was already charged with murder in relation to violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act in the Lapu-Lapu City Prosecutors Office. According to the NBI, extreme jealousy may have triggered the crime as the boy have seen Christine talking to another boy before they met outside the Sacred Heart Church in barangay Bankal last March 10.

They walked towards Pacific Villa subdvision where the mangled body of Christine was found in a nearby grassy lot the morning after. Chistine’s face was skinned to the bone. She suffered 30 stab wounds. Some parts of her body was missing. Her tongue was plucked out.
