Buenavista Surf Camp in Gubat Sorsogon

Bicol Region: After our MTB Enduro events in Albay and when we’re heading way back to a Roro port in Matnog Sorsogon, the team wasn’t able to catch the last trip of ferries bound for Allen Samar. iNews.Ph & PXSSS team decided to stay overnight in Gubat Sorsogon an hour away from port.

We met with Bridge Villarroya who heads and organize a surfing community in the area. Villarroya said, “Nasa 11 years na ang Buenavista Surf Camp, dito naka base ang surf lessons namin, primary source ng funding nang Gubat Sorsogon Surfriders Association Inc.

Ang pera para sa school supplies nang mga member kid surfers at pang budget para sa mga biyahe namin para sa national competitions.” This surfing spot he was promoting is near the Visayas region and is budget friendly for thise who wishes to explore this part if Bicol and learn how to surf.
