March 30, 2019 What : Implementation of Search Warrant that resulted to an armed confrontation and neutralization of the subject
Where : Sitio Sta Cruz, Brgy Lower Mohon, Talisay City, Cebu.
When : March 30, 2019 at 3:20 o’clock in the morning more or less
Who : ERIC SALONOY RUIZ (HVT) (DIPO), 28 years old, single and a resident of Sitio Sta Cruz, Brgy Lower Mohon, Talisay City, Cebu
Why : Implementation of Search Warrant No. 2019 – 58 issued by Hon. Jacinto G Fajardo Jr. presing Judge RTC Brach 66, Talisay City, Cebu.
How : On the aforementioned time, date and place, elements of this station composed of DEU personnel and intelligence operatives led by PMaj Ardioleto G Cabagnot under the direct supervision of PLt Col. MARLU P CONAG together with Tangke Forward Base RMFB7, implemented the aforementioned Search Warrant at the residence/premises of the herein respondents at around 3:20 in the morning of March 30, 2019 with PDEA coordination no 2002 – 032019 – 0743.
That during the implementation of the said warrant, while the team was proceeding at the premises of the respondent, the subject senses the presence of police officers. The subject then fired his unidentified cal. of firearm from inside his house.
Police operatives able to retaliate that resulted to the neutralization of the subject. TREAT personnel responded to the incident but declared the suspect having no signs of life.
Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) assistance was made to process the crimescene and able to recover the ff pieces of evidence to wit: • One (1) unit revolver of unidentified cal without serial number containing one (1) fired cartridge case, two (2) misfired bullet and three (3) live ammunitions; • Two (2) pcs cotton swab from the revolver; • One (1) Fired cartridge case; • One (1) fired bullet; • One (1) Large Pack heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu” marked as ESR dated March 30, 2019 with signature Above – mentioned pieces of evidence was brought by the SOCO for forensic crime laboratory examinations.
That the conduct of actual search was duly witnessed by Ms Josephine Escañan representative from National Prosecutors Office and Hon Mareno Cañada, an elected Brgy Official of Brgy Mohon, Talisay City, Cebu. For Information and acknowledge receipt. MARLU P. CONAG Police Lieutenant Colonel
