What: Buy Bust Operation resulted to an armed confrontation and death of the subject
Where : Mananga 1, Brgy Tabunok, Talisay City Cebu

When : April 16, 2019 at around 9:00 in the evening more or less

Who : Suspects: GILBERT DELA PEÑA ALESIR aka “Moros” (HVT) (Subject of Buy – Bust Operation)(DIPO), male, 35 years old, married and a resident of Sitio Mananga 1, Brgy Tabunok, Talisay City Cebu.
Why : Validated report on illegal drugs activity resulting to the conduct of Buy – bust operation against the above – named person.
How : On Above stated time, date and place, elements of this unit led by P/MAJ ARDIOLETO CABAGNOT under the direct supervision of P/LTC MARLU PALOMARIA CONAG conducted Buy-bust operation against the above – named person under PDEA 7 coordination control number 20002 – 042019 – 0274 utilizing Two (2) pcs genuine One hundred peso paper bills bearing with serial numbers XN845604 and XN805431 based upon the reports and complaints of concerned citizens of Brgy Tabunok, Talisay City Cebu. During the transaction, the subject senses that he was transacting with police operative and further draws an unidentified caliber of firearm and aim towards the latter. The police operatives upon sensing the danger, draws his issued firearm and shoot the aggressor suspect that resulted to his instantaneous death. TREAT personnel responded the incident but declared the person having no signs of life. Immediately, this office seeks Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) Team assistance to process the crime scene and able to recover the following pieces of evidence to wit:

• One (1) unit firearm seems like a caliber .357 revolver;
• One (1) deformed fired bullet;
• Two (2) pcs fired cartridges cases seems like of cal. 9mm;
• Ten (10) pcs triangular heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu”; and
• One (1) pc of fired bullet

Confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the PNP Crime Laboratory for further laboratory examinations.
