GOVT. MEDIA IN CEBU TO BE UNDER ONE ROOF

Presidential Communications and Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar bared that all government media entities in Cebu will be house in one place soon.

Andanar who was in Cebu last Thursday said that the budget for the purpose will be tackled for deliberation next year. Called the media hub,” it will be patterned in the Davao City set up where all the Mindanao government media entities were put in one building.

The Mindanao media hub is already ninety-percent complete Andanar said. Andanar was in Carcar City last Thursday, August 15, 2019, in holding “Rehabinasyon” to tackle the government’s response to drug surrenderees.

Rehabinasyon is a portmanteau of “rehabilitasyon (rehabilitation)” and “nasyon (nation).” Andanar said that after the Mindanao hub, next will be the Visayas media hub and all the government Cebu Media will also be put in one building.

Currently, they already found two sites in Cebu City for the location of the Visayas media hub. Included media stations in the upcoming media hub are the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), People’s Television (PTV), Philippine News Agency (PNA) and DYMR Radyo ng Pilipinas.
