Authentication Services now available in DFA Consular Cebu Office

DFA launched its Authentication Services in Cebu office

The Department of Foreign Affairs has officially launched its Authentication Services in DFA Consular Cebu Office last Tuesday, September 10, 2019. Together with Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. is Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Secretary Michael Lloyd Dino who served as the guest of honor on the said launching.

The launch of Authentication services in Cebu will answer the long-standing clamor of the public for the rollout of authentication services in the Visayas. Together with Secretary Locsin and Dino are Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes (leftmost); DFA Undersecretary Brigido “DJ” Dulay; Mr. Edward S. Gaisano, President of Pacific Mall Metro Mandaue (2nd from the right); and DFA Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs Neil Frank R. Ferrer.

Authentication services allow Philippine-issued documents, such as birth certificates, academic records, and PRC licenses, to be recognized abroad a valuable service for Overseas Filipino Workers, businesses and other sectors.
