President Rodrigo Duterte appointed Cebuano businessman Luisito “Chito” Clavano as the newest member of the Clark Development Corporation Board of Directors. Director Clavano has vast management experience in the transportation and food service industries which can be harnessed in various development programs that are now being undertaken inside the Clark Freeport Zone under the aegis of the Clark Development Corporation.
Presidential Assistant for the Visayas, Sec. Michael Dino, congratulated the new board director on his appointment and expressed confidence that Clavano will be an invaluable asset to the Clark Development Corporation given his expertise and track record in management in both the public and the private sectors. Director Clavano is grateful for the President’s trust and pledged to deliver the tasks given to him particularly those that can accelerate the growth of Clark as the “New City” – a hub of economic growth yet unmatched in the nation’s history.
Director Clavano was formerly the Executive Director of the Road Board which functions have been transferred to the Department of Public Works and Highways.
