The combined anti-drug operatives of the government has seized late Tuesday afternoon, October 1, 2019, about two (2) kilos of shabu in Dumaguete City. It led to the arrest of a certain Jake Lester Alesna Esquilona, 22, of Poblacion Sibulan town, an after operation report reaching the Police Regional Office (PRO7) headquarters based in Cebu City said.
Esquilona, a regional high value target (HVT) fall on the sting operation launched by the combined elements of the Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office, Dumaguete City Police Station and the Phil. The team of Captain Michael Rubia caught Arnold Yaesu, 31, a councilman of Barangay San Isidro, Bayawan City in a buy-bust operation past 6pm. Yaesu was caught having about 30 grams of shabu worth about P204, 000. 00. The suspect was considered a municipal ‘ “high value target” being a noted drug peddler in Santa Catalina town. /AAJ
