Primehomes Development Corp. is building a P150 million housing project in Carcar City. “We are optimistic about Carcar City. It is the next city to contend with” Benedict Que, Primehomes Devt. Corp. President and CEO announced in a press conference today, November 27, 2019, at the Golden Prince hotel after their groundbreaking of the housing project site in Brgy. Tuyom, Carcar City.

Called Henaville Homes Carcar Que said the project will sit on a 1.8 hectares lot which is designed for economic housing along with some units that will be dedicated for socialized housing as per Batas Pambansa 220 which is being strictly monitored by the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB).

Carcar, Que explained, is strategically located since it appears to be the center of Cebu mainland and could be further developed to decongest Cebu City and be accessible to the towns within the mainland of Cebu province. “It’s a good place to stay. Carcar is the center of Cebu.

We are very optimistic about Carcar,” Que said who was joined by Carcar City Vice Mayor Nice Apura in their groundbreaking activity. Harold Vince See , Primehomes Vice President for Finance bared the homeowners will enjoy amenities typical to most housing projects where a guardhouse will be put up along with the installation of CCTV’s to give optimum security to its homeowners and occupants.

It will have a 4.5 kilometers jogging path, See added, a feature that makes the project unique from the others. Henaville Homes which also has one in Compostela according to See would also address the needs of their nearby public schools as they will build drainage which would also serve as its outfall. “We also think of it as our way to give back to the community, we don’t only look for profit.

We also think of what we can do to help. Our development is tailor-made on what is the need of the locality as well,” See said. As per their announcement, about 231 two-story units will be for sale, 44 for socialized housing, the rest for economic housing.

Each economic housing unit will be suited for 3 bedrooms, each unit would have a space for carport. The socialized housing has a provision for 2 bedrooms. All the units will be for delivery and turn over in 2022./AAJ
