Due to NCoV Outbreak; Tokyo Olympics boxing qualifying tournament pulled out from China

CEBU CITY, Philippines – The Olympic Committee Task Force announced the cancellation of the Asia-Oceania Tokyo Olympic Qualifying Tournament  schedule in Wuhan China on February 3-14, 2020.
Accordingly, the IOC wanted the tournament out of China after the Novel Corona Virus outbreak.
“Just received the official announcement from the International Olympic Committee Boxing Task Force that they are now looking for an alternative location OUTSIDE CHINA for the Asia-Oceania Olympic Qualifying Tournament which was pulled out of Wuhan, for obvious reasons,” Association of Boxing Alliances of the Philippines (ABAP) secretary general Ed Picson posted in his Twitter account.
No details yet revealed as to who will host the qualifying event, but the Philippines is showing interest to host the tournament. RCM
