Philippine Navy ship arrives in China, picks up PPEs

Xiamen, China – The Philippine Navy logistics support vessel BRP Bacolod City arrived in Xiamen, China on Saturday, April 25, and picked up 33 container vans with 23,385 boxes of personal protective equipment (PPE) procured by the Department of Budget and Management for use in the government’s COVID-19 response. BRP Bacolod City departed the Philippines on April 21, 2020, and shall immediately sail home upon completion of the hauling and is expected to arrive this May.
