contracting the virus. He succumb to Covid-19 four days after showing his beautiful, protective fashion inspired, RTW 2021 Spring / Summer Collection for Paris Fashion Week just recently.

Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s I became a fan of Kenzo, the fashion label known for its colorful and quirky designs, with an East meets West aesthetic, that gave Japanese designers a face in the high fashion world in Europe. Kenzo is also known for his perfume line, with FLOWER, as my personal favorite among many, gifted by a dear friend a few years ago.
His legacy as one of the worlds best Asian designers based in Paris, will stay long as one of the industry pillars that has stood the many fashion changes and will forever be etched in the global history of style.
