SFBC has withstood the wrath of Ruping (Typhoon Mike) in November 1990 and the rage of Yolanda (Typhoon Haiyan) in November 2013 and currently struggling with the pandemic but still is standing elegantly strong amidst all the challenges.

What was initially just a family private rest house for friends turned out to be an iconic view that welcomes guests to the Island of Bantayan.

A family owned business managed by its matriarch, Mrs. Susan Holyasan with Mr. Peter Holyasan (who self-proclaimed that he is in his retirement age) holding her hands every step of the way. With their children keeping their hands busy with the everyday operations.
