Two members of the New People’s Army (NPA) and who are also tagged as top most wanted persons (MWP) in Metro Manila, were arrested by police on Thursday.
National Capital Regional Office chief Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo said that the suspects Kent John Magdadaro, 24, and Arnel Magdadaro, 43, were arrested by operatives of the NCRPO and the Masbate Provincial Police Office at the barracks of a construction project on Taft Avenue in Barangay 49, Pasay City at around 12:10 p.m. Thursday.
Both suspects are natives of Pio V. Corpuz town in Masbate. They are members of the NPA’s Ka Rogelio Suson a.k.a. Manong command, Komiteng Probinsya 4 and are employed as construction workers.
Kent John is wanted for four counts of murder and attempted murder while Arnel is wanted for three counts of murder and attempted murder by the Cataingan, Masbate Regional Trial Court Branch 49, with no bail recommended.
The suspects were turned over to the Quezon City Centralized Custodial Facility pending the return of the warrant of arrest to the court of origin and issuance of the commitment order.
