It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Ayala Center Cebu as it welcomed the holiday season with a tree lighting ceremony at The Gallery last November 3.
The tree lighting marked the beginning of the mall’s holiday festivities and was led by Ayala Malls Head of Operations, Clavel Tongco; Ayala Malls Operations Area Head for VisMin Celeste Bernardine “Bong” Dy; and Ayala Center Cebu General Manager Jia Sadol.
The 40-foot tree serves as the mall’s Christmas centerpiece where shoppers can stop by to take photographs. It features stars with geometric patterns that represent Ayala Center Cebu’s link to the community.
“This year, our Christmas Tree Lighting activity does not only prompt the start of a holiday but it also cues in a new meaning of the true season’s celebration,” Jia Sadol, Ayala Center Cebu General Manager, shared after explaining how Christmas has evolved into a celebration of life and moments with the people we cherish the most. “We [Ayala Center Cebu] promise to bring merriment and enjoyment to our beloved shoppers through various events and activities.”
Ayala Center Cebu’s Christmas celebration has only just begun. Shoppers can expect more holiday treats like promos, discounts and festive performances in the days and weeks leading up to Christmas.
