Palmares was proud to look back on his humble dream, and his work to achieve it after convincing the National Executive Board that the City of Passi is a capable host of the 18th National Scout Jamboree. Camp Pagsusubok meanwhile, is a traditional affair that served as kick-off to the national event.
Camp Pagsusubok is also as a dry run to test the preparedness of the host, identify and clarify the roles of all involved, and identification of the additional needs to mitigate any untoward incidents.
The 3-day activity will feature scout fellowship, mock parade, skills training, campfire, evaluation, and feedback to test the facilities and the readiness of venue for the upcoming national event in December.
